Bronco, Walking and Teeth, err Tooth.

Tasha walks all around now, and is starting to get teeth which makes her a little bit cranky. So, here's some pictures because we finally had a chance to relax while not chasing her.

A tooth! A tooth! My kingdom for a tooth. Look really close and you can see the bottom tooth just barely showing through. Yes, we are excited, mostly because they are bothering her and we hate to see her grumpy and hurting.

1st Birthday!

Tasha turned one today. She had great fun trying to open presents and playing with new toys and eating cake and having friends over. Let's get to the pictures because we got some really cute ones!

A friend of Tashas gave her a tutu which she thought was more fun to wear on her head! (with a special guest appearance on the blog by Natasha's friend Sam's foot!)

And yes, she is walking, a bit that is. She still stumbles but she can take up to 7 or 8 steps.

Tasha is just adorable. She moves around so much now we can barely remember the pre-movement days. She likes to pull up and stand next to anything. Best of all she gets super excited when I get home from work!

Apparently food and sleeping go hand in hand. Maybe it just wears her out being so cute all the time. Most likely it's the church schedule that messes with her naps. Also, we are teaching the 5 year olds now, and Tasha doesn't get a chance to sleep as much.

I really hate when I fall asleep with cheese hanging out of my mouth, must run in the family.

Cute Natasha

Natasha is now over 9 months old. The time is just flying by, and she is developing more personality by the day. It's all kinds of fun, but also lots of work especially for Mommy. On to the pictures.

This is a super adorable video. Mommy is tickling her off camera and laughing a little with her.

Bath Time

Natasha is still just as cute as ever. She is lots of fun. She is still trying to produce some teeth. She has a couple just hovering below the surface that seem to be giving her some pain. It means she isn't sleeping quite like the angel we are used to.

Energy

Natasha is a huge ball of energy now. She will rarely sit still and is constantly going. It's fun, but makes for lots of work. She is also a great helper. She helps show us exactly what parts of the house aren't child-proofed yet.

Movin Baby

The kid is moving all over the place now. She crawls fast as lightning, or at least it seems like it because 1 second your back is turned and then next she is halfway down the hallway. And she climbs up on things. She can pull herself up to standing next to something. So now anything within reach on the couch and chairs are fair game. So, now it's just a big game of chase the kid or cat and mouse.

Sick in the Summer

Natasha has been a bit sick this past week. Mostly just not eating as well, and having many, many dirty diapers. She gave the sickness to Alyson, but they are both just about better now, just in time for the last Harry Potter book that comes out today!

It's just been too hot for clothes!

I can scoot, roll and army crawl. But, I fully intend to crawl very soon because Mommy and Daddy have so much stuff I need to get into.

Interesting paradox: Do we think it's gross to chew on our toes because we grow less flexible and can't anymore? Or, do we realize it's gross to chew on our toes, stop doing it, and thus become less flexible?

Fun Kid

Natasha is slowly but surely growing up. She takes much more interest in her surroundings than she used to and is curious about everything. Mostly she is curious about how it tastes and puts everything in her mouth, but I guess that is normal.

We're still here

We've started to fall into a routine now. Natasha sleeps and eats fairly regularly now, and we tend to forget to take as many pictures of her. I think because we are getting used to how sweet and cute she is, and are starting to take it for granted. Well, No More! Here's to all the babies crying in church! Here's to all the parents that show up for work with blood shot eyes! Here's to the sweetest baby in the world. :)

Smiling happy baby.


Not sure what pose the camera caught. We think it's the baby robot.

There's a story to this picture. You see that little stuffed animal, well, it's a cow puppet. It's a very advanced puppet that has a little voice box in its mouth. The puppeteer can squeeze down and make the cow moo. Natasha has no problem with the cow. But, when the cow moos she gets a little scared as seen in the picture. Thankfully she cheers up quickly, when the cow isn't mooing that is.
